Elaine "Leni" Flaster

Leni has departed for her next party. Born 7/11/1931 in Newark, NJ to Abe and Rohna Sacharow. Spent formative years and early adulthood in Passaic, NJ. Moved to Rockaway, NJ to the house she designed and adored. She also lived in W. Paterson, NJ; Boynton Beach, FL; Scottsdale and Chandler, AZ.

Leni’s love of life took her to places throughout the world, trying new foods, collecting artwork, and meeting all kinds of people. Theatre and dancing were two of her passions. She married the handsome, charming dancer Herb Flaster (later divorced).

Strength and determination made her a successful entrepreneur, who was featured in a full page write up in the New York Times for her Diet Control franchise.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lynn Kepford (Frank Truncellito), Bonny Flaster (Andra Medea), her granddaughter Jessica (Dustin) Rigler, and her great granddaughter Cadence Rigler.

People die for all kinds of medical reasons. In Leni’s case, the truer reason was probably that life stopped being fun. She has gone to a place where people she loves are around, the music plays, and she can dance again.

Funeral services will be at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ on July 11, 2022.
