Alex was born in San Diego, California on August 23rd, 1994 to Craig and Twyla (Clarence) Forbes and enjoyed a loving childhood with his two brothers, Zack and Riley. He graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a degree in accounting. He worked as a financial analyst for both Amazon and Sprouts and had a true love for a good spreadsheet.
He married Camille Walker on September 7th, 2019 in Sedona, Arizona. They knew their time may be short, but they purposed to love fiercely for as long as they were given.
Alex loved being outdoors; including skiing, hiking, biking and running. He also enjoyed gaming; Gwent was his favorite computer game but he always enjoyed a rowdy game of Command and Conquer with his brothers. Alex was a voracious reader and could always be found laughing while reading a good book.
Alex always had a smile that could light up any room and had such a thankful, positive and glowing spirit. Alex made his choice to serve the Lord at a Gospel Meeting in Utah at the age of 11 and lived a faithful life until the end. Knowing the comfort of God’s hand has been a strength and blessing to Alex, Camille and his family through his cancer journey.
Alex is survived by his wife Camille, his parents Craig and Twyla, his brothers Zack and Riley, his grandmothers, Helen Forbes and Elaine Clarence, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Wilson Forbes and Wesley “Buddy” Clarence. Alex was well loved by all who knew him and will always be remembered.
