He was born and raised in Scottsbluff, he was the son of the late Arthur and Virginia Sanchez of Scottsbluff. The brother of Veronica (Arnaldo) Casillas of Scottsbluff, Arthur Sanchez, Jr. Of Denver, Valerie Sanchez of San Antonio, Rodney Sanchez of Scottsbluff, and Vanessa (Philip) Aguirri of San Antonio.
Ruben will be remembered for his angelic singing, the ability to make others laugh, his kindness, his love he shared with so many, and his unwavering support for his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, siblings, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He's preceded in death by his father.
A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe church at 9am on Monday, December 16th followed by a rosary at 9:30am, and mass at 10am. Burial will take place at Fairview cemetery.
