Ronald D Schaffer

Ronald (Ron) Schaffer passed away on Monday October 14, 2024. He was born June 5, 1953. He was the oldest of three sons to Dave Jr. and Verna Schaffer in Scottsbluff, NE.

Ron worked as an Auto mechanic at Dalton Buick, and a Parts man at Heilbruns. Through the years of working as a mechanic and auto parts counter person Ron made several friendships with all the acquaintances, through the years.

His most memorable “job” was being an uncle. He was a fun-loving jokester and sometimes “grouchy” but you always knew how special you were to him.

A memorial in Ron’s name can be made to the Humane Society. Ron loved all animals especially Scooter and Lady.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis and grandparents.

Ron is survived by his brother Vern (Dallas), nephews Steven (Jami), Nicholas (Shannon), Brandon (Jessica), Greg (Katie) and niece Morgan (Jason) Gardner and several great nieces and nephews.
