Liz grew up in Beechwood, attended Cohasset schools, and worked for many years at PJ’s Country House Restaurant. At her passing Liz was working at her second career of 31 years…. “feeding the kids” at Scituate High School. A position she truly loved. The word retire was not in her vocabulary. She also found much joy and comfort being a member of the Choir at St, Mary’s Church.
She is survived by her loving children Eileen (Michael) Adams, Patrick M. Dwyer, and Regina E. Dwyer, all of Scituate. Her siblings Viola Holbert and Caroline Morris both of Scituate, John Dunlap of Biddeford, Me., Henry (Bonnie) Dunlap of Port St Lucie, Fl. and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank “Wonderful” Dwyer, Sons Dennis P. Dwyer and Sean R. Dwyer, Grandson Sean M. Dwyer, and siblings Mary Barbiere, and George Dunlap.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 3-7 pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10 am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Interment to follow at Cudworth Cemetery, Cudworth Rd, Scituate.
