Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William and Madeline (Peluso) Anderson. He graduated from Boston public schools and went on to enlist in the US Army, proudly serving his country. He owned and operated his own HVAC company for many years.
Throughout his life, he most enjoyed traveling the world and repairing cars in his spare time.
He was the father of Kathleen Donovan of Vermont and Charles Anderson of Melrose, MA.
Brother of Patricia Layden of Salem, NH, Helen O’Neill and her husband Brian of Foxborough, MA, Tina Anderson and her partner Jimmy Kelley of Marlborough, MA, Rita Gauthier and her husband Steve of Mashpee, MA and the late William Anderson, Jr. and Theresa Anderson.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A committal service with US Army military funeral honors will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 12:45pm.
