Carol was born in Framingham, MA, and spent her early years as a teacher. With her late husband Raymond G. Russell, they raised their family in Scituate, MA; and founded Russelectric, Inc., one of the most respected manufacturers of power control systems in the world. Her pride and joy was always her family and they were more than blessed to have her.
Although she will be greatly missed, we all know she is in a better place with amazing amenities: an endless amount of books, chocolate, and a reunion with family and friends from long ago. The world is a lesser place without her wicked wit and compassionate soul.
Carol is survived by her four children Suzanne, John, Lisa and James; her grandchildren Jennifer Novick, Matthew, Amanda, Julianna and Jazzmin; and her first great-grandchild Nora Novick with one more on the way. She is also survived by other members of her immediate family: Cynthia Russell, Connie Rivera, Michael O'Toole, Scott Novick and her sister-in-law Jeanne Russell with her children, Laura, Glenn, Susan and Ellen.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, from 4-7 pm at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate and she will be laid to rest privately at the Groveland Cemetery in Scituate.
