Born on January 8, 1941, Ralph was a spirited, charming, and humorous man who loved entertaining his family and friends through his revered Italian cooking and warm, hospitable spirit. He was a celebrated lifelong modelmaker in the costume jewelry industry, originally for Panetta Jewelry and then independently. Delighted to barbecue for a crowd in his meticulously cultivated garden or to enthusiastically cheer on the Yankees with friends, Ralph was a man of humble and understated creative talents who had a deep appreciation of art, weather collecting or creating it, and culture. A lover of music, he was known by all as a man of great integrity and an endless generous spirit to friends, clients, and family.
After a long struggle with bladder cancer, Ralph passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debra Lupardo, and his son Nick, along with children Christine, and husband Steve, Ralph, Jr., and Lorraine (d. 2007) and her husband Tom (d. 2007), as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
