Phyllis Rose Gelormino

Phyllis was married to the late John Paribello.

Phyllis is survived by 4 children, John, his wife Mary, of Ridgefield, CT, Judy of Eastchester, NY, Stephen and Dawn of West Palm Beach, FL and Marybeth of Eastchester, 8 grandchildren, Michael, Salvatore, Anthony, Joseph, Elizabeth, Emily, John and Paul, 1 nephew, Robert and 4 great grandchildren, Giovanni, Mariana, Michael, Jr. and Anthony.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her son Paul, her brother Jerry, and her son-in-law Michael Dobbin.

Phyllis was born in Mount Vernon, NY on January 20, 1933. She graduated from Davis High School and continued on to receive a bachelor of arts from The College of New Rochelle.

Phyllis worked as a Educational salesperson for Cuisenaire for 25 years. [She enjoyed reading, card games, traveling, Bingo and cooking]. She was closely associated with the Senacle Sisters Retreat in Hypoluxo, FL.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe. Father Anthony Sorgi will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will on November 23rd at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 9:30 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes.
