It is so hard to beleive it has been three years since you left us it still does not feel real and all of us are misssing you every hour of every day your Daughter is doing her best with you not here she is kind caring beautiful person just like you we have grown very close and i will always be here to help guide her through everything that life throws at her she reminds me of you so much . It is hard to go day after day with you not here you are so loved and so missed all of us are hoping you are with our mother and other loved ones and are free of all the pain and problems that the world brings us daily .You are so loved so missed will always be praying you are watching over us and help us go on each day with you not here love love love you so much waiting for the day we will be together again i will watch over your daughter like she is my own please promise miss you xoxoxoxo

My Auntie Val 

She was the best aunt that I ever could have asked for…. From the minute I was born she was there for me and would continue to do so for most of my life! Her and my uncle Brad were like my second parents as they would take me alll the time like I was there own My aunts weekly visits after work I always looked forward to and when she arrived I would always greet her with hello Mrs Smith as that was her liscence plate and she would always laugh and say that’s not my name, Even though it technically really was and my uncles unexpected visits would always come with the coolest surprises. They were who I would confide in when I didn’t want to confide in anyone else. She always had good advice and she always stayed calm and patient with me no matter what I did. I have some amazing memories of my Auntie Val and I will hold onto them for the rest of my life. I wish we were able to change the past few years and have spent more time but we will be together again. I hope that your at Peace. I would like y to say thank you to my Uncle for being there for my Aunt for the past 40 + years and especially these last few months. You stepped up when she needed you the most during her fight with cancer and you couldn’t have done a better job. I’m truly sorry for my cousin Jen that lost a mother at such a young age. You were the light of your mothers life she lived for you and would have done anything to make you happy. She will continue being there with you in spirit and will guide you through the rest of your life. Love you both.

wanting to give extra special message to brad who is such  a great guy and a wonderful husband and caregiver he was to valerie when she got sick he stopped his life to care for her daily which was not easy he had to stop working so he could get her to all her appointments at sunnybrook hospital back and forth and take care of household and his daughter jennifer who is having to deal with losing her mother at such a young age i know how hard this has been on him but he stood up and took control and did a wonderful job he has been a great father  and and will go above and beyond to stand by jennifer and help her through this his main concern is his daughter and i know he will be there to get her to a good place thank you so much brad for taking such good care of my sister love you always xoxo thankyou so much  and you are doing great job with jennifer always have and will continue tobe a great dad love always tracey and family xoxoxo

my sister was  such a good friend and a wonderful person we would talk on the phone every day and help each other in times of trouble we both had each others back when it came time to take care of our mother in her time of need she was a good daughter and a great sister loved being a mother her whole world revolved around jennifer she was so proud of her and brought up a beautiful kind caring loving daughter it will be so hard to go every day without her being here it still does not feel real i will never understand why but i know she will always be with us looking down and still trying to guide us in the right direction we had such a great childhood and great memories she was a great aunt to our children and loved animals she has a beautiful dog named bella and a sweet cat named tigger she spoiled them whenever she could they will miss her terribly the day will come when we will be together again so until then iwill miss her and think about her everyday love you valerie all around the world and back again xoxoxoxo your loving sister tracey

Valerie………the sweet, shy little girl I first met when she was 3 years old and I was 11.  Your family, sisters Arlene (5 yrs) and Tracey (1yr), your   mom and grandparents had moved to 21 Wantanopa  Cres. and I lived across the street.  My love of young children especially babies led me to befriend your family and I enjoyed helping your Mom care for you and your sisters.  Our two families became entwined  and many happy and sad times were shared together.  You were a good student at school  and went on to a good job at Ontario Hydro.  You were a loving, dedicated daughter,  sister, aunt, wife and mother.  Retired and living in New Brunswick it pains me that I wasn’t physically able to be with you during your battle with cancer.  Gone too soon, but always will be loved and remembered.
