We were so sorry to hear about Mrs Hayes passing and regret we could mot make it to the funeral. Living a few houses over on Stamford, we remember her hard working and no-nonsense way but especially her wit most of all.  Always kind… we are so very sorry for your loss.. Thinking of you all,

I am so sorry for your loss.   As someone who grew up down the street from all of you, I have many memories of your mom.   I am especially grateful for the support your mom provided to my mom and dad during his illness and to my mom after he passed away.    I always enjoyed hearing my mom tell me about the lovely evenings she had spent laughing and chatting with your mom when your mom had dropped by her house for a visit. We will all miss you so much. You were beautiful, caring, funny and so stylish. I feel very proud and grateful to have had you in my life. As much as we are sad that you are gone, I know Grandpa must be thrilled to have you by his side again. I am sure he greeted you with the biggest hug possible. Tell him we miss him too.

Auntie Jan who lit up a room and had such a rapport with my dad. A lot of lovely memories of visits growing up in the 70's with the whole family. So glad I was able to see her on my visit to Canada, also your dad, you and not forgetting Rick. I remember when I first met her she scared me a little lol but soon came to realise what a lovely lady she was and made me laugh a lot. She gave me great advice and thanks to her I became a Canadian citizen.  A beautiful soul now reunited with her soulmate. Rest in Peace Auntie Jan. x

My sincere condolences to the passing of Jan. I will always remember the kindness and support from Jan and Dennis when we first moved to Canada. You were all good friends to us during our years there. I will remember Jan with much love.

Our condolences and prayers go out to all the Hayes family, Bill and I were so very glad we got to visit Janet in the hospital before her passing and share old memories with her, and tell her how much we loved her. Janet and Dennis Sr., myself and Bill have been friends for many years. She will be missed greatly and loved much by us.
