Kathryn King Butler, 62, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at Candler Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion L. and Verdie McIver King. Kathryn was born and raised in Savannah and was a 1969 graduate from Tompkins High School. She was retired from the US Postal Service as a letter carrier and was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Butler of Savannah; two sons, Ronnie L. Butler, (Nicole) of Sugar Hill, GA, Michael J. Butler (Jennifer) of Enid, OK; one daughter, Natonya Butler-Gray of Buford, GA; five sisters, Bettye Godwin, Miriam King, Constance Tisdale, Dianne Webb, Christine Ivey; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Funeral Service: 2:00p.m. Saturday, Feb 15, 2014 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Brother Adrian Bennett officiating. Burial to follow in Magnolia Memorial Garden.
