Mr. Henry Lingg Penton III

He was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry L. Penton, Jr., and Sara Graves Penton., and his two brothers, Gerald and Gary Penton.

He was a graduate of Herschel V. Jenkins High School, and was employed by Mock Plumbing Company.

He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and Local # 188, Plumbers, Steamfitters and Air Conditioners Union.

He is survived by his sister, Katherine Lanier (Don) of Savannah, Ga; a niece, Amy Lanier, 3 nephews, Donnie Lanier (Glenda), Jerry Lanier (Lisa), and Josh Penton., and 8 great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the CV ICU Nurses and Doctors at Memorial Medical Center, who took excellent care of him, during his illness.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Dr. Allan W. Bosson, officiating.

Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
