Annette Soucy LaForce, 95, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Hospice Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edgar T. LaForce in 2004 and also 11 brothers and sisters.
She was born in Grand Isle, Maine on May 11, 1916, the daughter of Theophile and Olive Dumond Soucy. Annette and her beloved husband moved to Savannah in 1990 from Berlin, NH. She was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Annette is survived by a sister, Sister Homerine Soucy, SCIM of Biddeford, Maine and many nieces and nephews from northern Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. One of her nephews, Neil Soucy, S.M. is a Missionary Priest in New Caledonia.
Visitation: 10:00 to 11:00a.m.Friday, July 8, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home with Monsignor Francis Nelson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
