BIRON, Susan (Jones) {Manitou nodin Kwa (Spirit wind women)} – Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the age of 98. Loving mother of Peter Jones (Pat), late Harry Jones (Dianne), Sally Vezina (late Don), Monica Sayers (Ken), Jennifer Pine (late Vince), the late Randolph Jones and the late John Wilbert “Chummy” Jones. Cherished grandma of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William Souliere and Bernadette Boissoneau and all her brothers and sisters. Special sister of Jimmie Lewis. Susan was very proud to be the oldest band member of Garden River First Nation. Friends may visit the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, May 29, 2017 from 5 to 9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11 am, Rev. Jean-Pierre Mukuna officiating. Interment Garden River Catholic Cemetery. Gathering to follow at the Community Center for a luncheon. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church would be appreciated.
