McCULLOCH, Sara Emily, born December 15, 1980 to the late Carla McCulloch (nee Daigle) - Passed away without pain Friday, December 1, 2023 with the comfort and unconditional love of her sons Xavier O'Hara, Stephen McCulloch and her daughter Kayla O'Hara by her side; as well as Sara's best friend, loyal confidant and grandfather to her children, Papa Tom O'Hara, her prayerful mother Yvonne Reid and her heart broken sisters Sheree Gartshore of Minneapolis and Joan Wilson (Mike). Sara is also survived by her siblings Bill McCulloch, Dave Richardson and Wayne Reid. Sara will be loved and missed by many extended family members and friends.
Sara loved her children immensely, she had enormous empathy for others that suffered and her compassion always lead her down roads to help even complete strangers. You would never taste a better meal, if it were not created by the loving hands of Sara. Her green thumb was as big as her favourite Auntie Emma's. Rest peacefully sweet Sara, continue to wrap your loving arms around your children and shine your bright light upon them.
The family would like to thank their extended family, friends and community that have come together to provide their heartfelt support. As well as Dr. DiFabio and the nurses that cared for Sara especially Carla, Natalie and Kirsten, their respect, compassion and care did not go unnoticed.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 11:30 am until 1 pm for a time of remembrance and visitation. Sara will be laid to rest following cremation with her mother at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in the Summer. In lieu of flowers, given Sara's love of animals, contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Humane Society would be appreciated. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the family of Sara.
