CAIN, Marie Ellen (Nelson) – Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 27, 2011 at the Sault Area Hospital, one day before her 88th birthday. Patient, loving wife of the late Alex Cain, of Hilton Beach, St. Joseph Island. Cherished and devoted mother of Mary Stevens (Harvey), Bonnie Muncaster (Clare), Gail Marziale (Tony), Bill (Sandra), Colleen Paat (Jimmy) and David (Phemie). Survived by her siblings: Alma Ingabrand (Kenny), Edmund (Ruby) and Donnie (Bonnie). Predeceased by her siblings: Hector, Redvers (Joan), Margaret Diboll, Hubert, Frank (Pat), Paul and Donna Joan. Proud grandmother of Tracy and Chad (Jennifer) Stevens, Kevin (Rayann) Muncaster, Krista (Rodney) Madahbee, Vanessa (Greg) Mittman, Spencer (Stephanie) Sharabura, Taylor Paat, Brandon Hunter and Erin Thibeault. Great grandmother of Alex and Riley Marshall, Eric Ross, Mackenzie, Mason, Jaymie and Brett Muncaster, Michael and Jesse Madahbee, Mary, Rae and Freddie Mittman, Katie Marie and Ally Sharabura, Jake Thibeault, Sam and Cole Stevens. Great great grandmother to Clive and Vesper Ross. Special “Mom” to Joanne Jenny and Judy Connell. Special lifelong friend of Emily Campbell. Graveside service at Maple Grove Cemetery “the Mountain” St. Joseph Island, at 3 pm, Tuesday, August 30. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. Followed by a celebration of Marie’s life, at the Hilton Beach Community Centre from 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
