VYE, Derek James – Peacefully passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 46. Loving fiancée of Angela and daughter Jordan. Beloved son of Evelyn and Delbert Vye. Brother of Polly (Frank), Fred and Dennis (Mary Ann). Uncle of Trisha, Sara, Nicholas, Brittnee, Averi and Eric. Derek attended St. John’s Elementary School and Bawating High School. He worked for the University of Kentucky Hospital for the past 20 years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
