Peacefully, Bryon was received by the arms of his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Linda (nee Hawdon). He was the loving father of Melissa (John) Fleming and Matthew Hall. Proud Gramps of Jenna (Caleb Parker), Carter, James (Georgia Creor), and Steven Fleming. Son of the late Bud and the late Kady (nee Crozier) Hall. Son-in-law of Merle (nee Kernaghan) and the late Ed Hawdon. Brother of the late Dave (Helen) and Chris (Lynda) Hall. Brother-in-law of Dennis (Marie) Hawdon, Bruce (Irene) Hawdon, Patricia (Will) Fairfield, Bill Hawdon, and Tim (Sue) Hawdon.
Bryon dedicated over 30 years of his life with the Ministry of Natural Resources. He also served many years as a Councillor for St. Joseph Township, as well as countless boards and committees within his community and church. Upon retiring, he continued to make a difference through his faith serving as the director of Teen Challenge North where he helped individuals find hope and inspired many by his enthusiasm for Christ.
A dedicated follower of Christ, he found strength and purpose in his spiritual journey. His unwavering belief was evident as he sought to exemplify the teachings of Jesus through love, compassion, and service to others. His kindness, wisdom, and support will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of Bryon's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at 1:30 pm with Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 pm. Memorial donations to the PSW Outreach Program (payable by cheque to St. Joseph Township, memo line: PSW Program) or to Matthews Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (payable by online or cheque) would be appreciated.
