1959 - 2024
Sylvia recently passed away at Royal University Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She was an avid gardener and baker, and enjoyed many hours fishing on the peaceful waters of Cowan Lake. She led an active life full of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Mary & Irvin Kiehn, father-in-law James Schroeder, sister-in-law Lynda Schroeder, brothers-in-law Don Sundquist and Eldon Schroeder.
Sylvia is survived by her husband Al Schroeder, son Matthew (Barbara) and daughter Olivia, son Dustin (Krista) and children Dmitri & Kendrick, daughter Miranda (Rolando) Isabel and step son Gabriele. Her sister Cindy Sundquist, brothers Lorado Kiehn and Monty (Carrie) Kiehn. Sisters-in-law Leila (Rick) Dornan, Lorelei (Murray) Orchard, mother-in-law Frances Schroeder and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service Remembrance for Sylvia will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Mourning Glory - Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7H 5N4. Interment will follow at a later date.
