With great sadness we announce the passing of Susan a beloved wife of 55 years to Jerry. Her memory will live on in her children: Angela, Trevor (Jaime), Micheal (Randi), Rob (Amy), Ben (Travis), her 13 grandchildren, and great-grandson. Susan is also survived by her brother-in-law Bill Hackett, Rieger in-laws John, Dave, Mandy (Art) Huzina, and Carol Massier. Susan deeply enjoyed the home they built at Last Mountain Lake. She could often be found taking pictures of the wildlife and enjoying the beautiful flower gardens. Her true love was her family, creating special bonds with her children and grandchildren all in a unique way. More recently a great-grandchild that made her smile with such joy. Susan spent many years perfecting the art of porcelain doll creations and was a true supporter of the Saskatchewan Doll Artisans. Like any prairie girl she always cheered for the Roughriders and soaked up hours watching curling. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home (2080 Victoria Ave East, Regina). A time of fellowship will follow with a Private Family Interment at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation (1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9). Arrangements in care of Travis Minor.
