It is with great sadness that the family of David Foreman announces his passing on May 20, 2017.
Dave was born in London, ON on December 3, 1945 to parents Stephen and Lily Foreman (deceased). Dave joined the RCAF as a mobile support equipment operator in February 1963 and served his country for 28 years, retiring in Comox, BC as a Master Warrant Officer (Transportation Controller). After retiring from the military, Dave worked in transportation locally; CFAD Dundurn, Co-op Fuel (Haesch Transport) and for Geransky Brothers Construction.
Dave leaves his loving wife Diana of 51 years; two children Stephen Foreman (Rhonda, Emma & Kara), Lisa Sielski (Amanda & Ryder); his sister Gail Robinson (Brian) and their daughters Amy (Ruben, Lily & Andre) and Anne and his sole cousin Bill Webb and their extended family.
Dave was accepted as part of the Collin’s ‘clan’, Diana’s family as one of their own. Diana’s brother Bill (Elaine), sisters Lorraine (deceased), Norma, Marge (Art), Virginia (Chuck), Maureen (Camille) along with numerous nieces and nephews were his extended family.
A note of thanks to Dave’s medical providers; Doctors Thomspon, Bree, Klassen, Couverette, Orvold, Tandon, Rai and their devoted staff along with all the staff at the RUH ICU department.
Also thanks to Dave’s friends (and special buddy Tom) who participated and oversaw the Living Well Cardiac Program at the Shaw Centre.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26th at St. John Bosco Parish (1202 Avenue O South).
