Ron was born on June 23, 1936 to Josephine (Sonntag) and Leo Zoller. Ron was raised on a farm near Denzil, SK. He attended high school at St. Thomas College in North Battleford and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.A. and B.Ed. Ron met his wife Jean while working in North Battleford. They were married on July 3, 1961. Together they taught in schools across the province.
Ron taught drama, English, history and was a school administrator in several communities. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, golfing and coached a number of sports teams.
Ron and Jean farmed in Blaine Lake where they raised purebred Limousin cattle. He and Jean enjoyed spending winters in Bullhead City, AZ and Laughlin, NV. Ron, with the help of his grandchildren, were active in the farmers market. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ron is predeceased by his parents Leo and Josephine; his son Brent Zoller, his brothers Victor, Father Joseph and Ted; his sisters Joan Schafer, Phyllis Sturdy and Armella Feser, brothers-in-law Martin Birn, Leo Feser, Herman Stang, Ed Logan, Ed Feser, Mike Vetter and Jack Schafer. He is survived by his wife Jean, son Cam (Leslie), brother Ernie, his sisters Mary, Leona, Denise, Betty, Mildred, Sheila, Rita (Gerry), Blanche and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
