It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Richard on Thursday at St. Paul’s Hospital while surrounded by family. Richard is survived by his three sons, Wayne, Jeff, Ryan and their families. He was predeceased by his wife, Stella of 52 years on August 25, 2012. Richard is also survived by his sisters, Bernetta and Armella, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Richard was born in Cudworth on October 7, 1937 to William and Christine (nee Reding), the youngest child. He began farming with Stella in 1960 and raised the boys on the farm, then retired to Saskatoon in 2002. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had deep roots in the farming community with a growing passion for Christian ministry and caring for others. He enjoyed woodworking in his retirement and will be ever sadly missed as a loving father, brother, friend; may he rest in peace.
