Leslie George Cooper

Leslie is survived by his wife, Dr. Norma Colleen Cooper (nee Clunie) and his children, Cynthia Lenore Cooper (Criminologist), Jeffrey George Cooper (T-M Sales and Marketing Manager) and Anthony Douglas Cooper (Accountant) and their families. Leslie was born and raised in Saskatoon, the only child of J. George and Elva Alice Cooper. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree, followed by a Law degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Leslie practiced law in the western provinces as a Criminal Defense Attorney and Prosecutor. Leslie enjoyed being with his family, golfing with his friends and spending time in Waskesiu. He loved to tease, tell a good joke and cut the rug on the dance floor. Leslie was a good husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Leslie's Life will be held at the Cooper cottage in Waskesiu on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1pm - 4 pm.
