We are so so sorry for the loss of your dear Gordon. He was such a charismatic, kind, creative, and thoughtful man. We’re so glad we had a privilege of meeting him. May your memories of your love and time together bring you some comfort as you navigate your grief. He will be so dearly missed. Sending you lots of love and big hugs.

Dear Gaye-Lynn.
My wife Dolores and I were saddened by the death of your beloved Gordon.  We have been friends since our high school and University days and I have seen how very happy you have been since Gordon came into your life.  Gordon's smile and sense of humour could light up a room.   We have fond memories of Gordon from our many trips to Saskatoon and from the time that you and Gordon visited us in Victoria and toured parts of Vancouver Island with us.  Know that you are in our thoughts.

I never had the privilege of meeting Gordon which is my loss.  My mother still talks about how Gord painted her storage shed at her apartment.  
I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  I pray for strength for you and your daughter in the time ahead.

It was  with much sorrow I read Gordon's obituary in the paper. My sorrow is for you Gayleen and Margaret-Ann.  Loss of the love of one's life is a profound emptiness .
 Shirley and Wilf were so proud of their family and so happy when Gordon became a part of it.
At Redeemer several years ago--you all -- Gayleen and Gordon and Margaret-Ann shared  talent and skills in music and art work. I appreciated and loved. Thank you!
I was sorry not to attend Gordon's service but did watch the service on line.  It was truly beautiful. A wonderful tribute! I especially appreciated your tribute Gayleen and shared your tears.  Thought of your parents and gave thanks for their friendship too.

Thank YOU for the email tonight GL, it was a shock to receive! Your words in your email are so heart spoken and with such control. 
One memory of Gordon is at VV. I saw him there one day and stopped and spoke to him. He had on a long purple coat, a colorful scarf and his white hair was longer and a bit unkempt. He looked striking. He looked confident. We had a short conversation and he went about his mission. 
Another short memory was one afternoon we were having a solstice party in your backyard on Arlington and Gordon was in top humour and a super host. But mostly remember his finger nails... he and MA had both painted theirs that afternoon to match and need I add their toenails as well. 
The man of one liners. He will be missed.

Dear Gaye-Lynn and Margaret Ann,  We've only had infrequent contact over the years but so well I remember you, Gaye-Lynn, during the tumultuous times we shared - and little Margaret Ann visiting my desk for candies.  Then came the happiness when you embarked on your lives with Gordon,  I so remember that bitterly cold winter night when I attended your wedding.  It is hard to believe it was 30 years ago.  Farewell to that handsome man, the love of your lives.  
From a headstone in Ireland - "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.  Love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Lorry and I are so sorry to hear about Gordon’s passing.  Our deepest condolences to Gaye-Lynn, Margaret-Anne and all family and friends.  

We became friends when we first met at Eaton's in the early 80's. We continued our friendship in the theatre world with Gateway Players and OBDT.  You designed the first poster for my first play as a director.  I still have it proudly displayed in my home.  You and Gaye-Lynn graced Bonnie's and my home on many occassions and always with an infectious sense of humour. You will be missed by all.  Too soon for you, my friend.
