October 17, 1929 – March 2, 2021
We are saddened to announce the passing of Clarence Williams at Oliver Lodge at the age of 91. Clarence is survived by his daughter Linda Boire; son Vern Williams; son Don (Lisa) Williams; grandchildren Terry (Doreen), Tammy (Rene), Alisha (Martin), Vanessa, Kurtis, Travis (Katelyn), Tyler (Brandy), Talia (Tommy), Dean (Tracy), Trina (Stephen), Justin, Jordan, Ashleigh (Dan), Riley (Jill); 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Stan (Doreen) Williams, Iris (Arthur) Berg and Alvin “Bud” (Ellen) Williams. He was predeceased by his wife Faye (August 2020); son Brian (2015); daughter-in-law Valentia Williams (2015); brother Ken (2020); and parents Wesley and Hazel. Clarence and Faye spent the early years raising their young family in Saskatoon before settling on the farm near Vanscoy. They were so proud to call the “Lazy W” home. The name was ironic as they worked so hard to create their beautiful property. Many years were spent raising Percheron horses; attending shows and local rodeos was such a highlight for them. Clarence really enjoyed auctions, sleigh rides, fishing and animals (especially horses). He was very social and well liked. He worked at Claude Neon for 35 years. Thank-you so much to the wonderful staff of Oliver Lodge for taking such good care of Dad. A Private Family Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021 with live-streaming available at: www.faithproductions.ca/livestream Memorial donations may be made to Oliver Lodge (1405 Faulkner Crescent, Saskatoon, SK S7L 3R5). Arrangements in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
