Clara passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her spouse George. She is survived by her 5 daughters Clara Fischer, Sandra Yurchuk, Brenda (Robert) Ockenden, Andrea Martin and Jennifer (Bob) Tripp; 6 sons George (Judy), Gerard, Greg, Guy (Darlene), Godfrey (Darcey) and Garth (Tammy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister Tilly Palmer. A huge bouquet of thanks to all the staff and residents at Abbeyfield House in Saskatoon for their excellent care, support and compassion shown towards Clara while she was a resident there from January 2016 until her passing. At Clara’s request there will be no formal funeral. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Woodlawn Cemetery (corner of 33rd St. & Warman Rd.).
