Catha Denise Munday

October 19, 1969 - September 16, 2024

In loving memory of our mother, Catha Munday, who passed away suddenly on September 16, 2024, at the age of 54. She was the devoted wife to Michael Craine and loving mother of Autum and Halle. Catha was born on October 19, 1969, to Alvin Munday and Merle Munday in Prince George, British Columbia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

Catha could always be found baking in her kitchen or sewing something for loved ones. She enjoyed volunteering her time to youth community sports and to the Saskatoon Rodeo Committee Association.

Catha was predeceased by Alvin Munday (Father), Theresa Munday (Sister), Brayden Tierney (Nephew) as well as other extended family members.

Catha is survived by her husband, Michael Craine and daughters Autum (and Autum’s family) and Halle Piller. She is also survived by mother, Merle Munday, sisters Leanne Kolke and Robin Robertson and her brothers Donald Munday, Austin Munday, AJ Munday, Landon Munday and their families. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mourning Glory Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel on Friday September 27, 2024 at 1pm.
