It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of our loved one, Candace Rita Pearl. Candace was born in Saskatoon, SK and raised on the Whitecap Dakota Nation where she lived with her grandmother Jewel, Uncles Austin, Roderick and numerous cousins. She attended the Whitecap Dakota First Nation School during her adolescent years and later attended Joe Duqette for high school. She later moved to Saskatoon and started her family.
Candace was a free spirit. She was outgoing, friendly and liked to visit. She always had a present to give you when someone popped in for a visit or quick hello. Candi could turn a serious situation into a humerus one. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Candi is survived by her partner Justin Reekie (J.R.) Her 11 children Kiarah (Montana), Dayzha, Dayton, Daymius, Dez, Doloris, Byron, Kendan, Kalen, Rita and Erica. Her father Ronald Ewenin, her siblings, Cassidy, Donavan, Terry, Vincent, Farren and Amanda. Her aunties Debbie Wapemoose, Jeanie Wapemoose, Iris and Michelle Littlecrow and uncle Roderick Littlecrow.
Candi was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Jewel Littlecrow, mother Esther Littlecrow, her two sons, Cadence and Durrell, her twins Ocean and Paradise, her paternal grandparents, Ronald Ewenin Sr and Evelyn Wapemoose.
At the families request we ask that no children be present during the wake or funeral service. The Wake will be held at Charles Redhawk School Gymnasium at 4:00 pm on Monday June 3, 2024 with the Funeral taking place Tuesday June 4th at 2:00 pm interment will follow at Whitecap Cemetery.
