Barbara June Anderson (Gregory) passed away peacefully on May 11, 2020 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 87. Barb was born on May 28, 1932 in Maryville, Tennessee the only child of Noah and Cora Gregory. Barb met Chesley and the two were married in 1954. Eight years later, Barb reluctantly followed Ches to Canada. She “left Plumtree down in Tennessee” for the Great White North, she was never able to get warm again. Barb taught at the Saskatoon Teachers College and later supervised intern teachers for the U of S. After that, she explored her real passion, which was real estate. She worked as an agent for both McCallum and RE/Max. When she was not busy working, she was the ultimate mom, convoying her children to activities -never missing a gymnastic meet. Barb’s other passions included shopping and exploring various art shows and auctions with her husband.
She is survived by her children Chesley Jr., Alice Ray (Alan), April (Pat) Loran; grandchildren R. Chesley (Tanya) Johnson, Stephanie and Bailey (Cole) Neufeld, Anthony (Tricia), Anderson (Haley), Noelle, Jessica (Aden), Loran, Theresa (Richard) Schmidt, and Michelle (Ryan) Ellson. She also had seven great grandchildren, one of whom was brought into this world the same day Barbara left us.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances we are living in, we will not be holding a public service for Barbara. There will be a small, intimate service held with just family.
