Audrey entered the world on September 15, 1935 in Saskatoon to parents Michael and Helen who predeceased her along with her nephew Trevor Weiler. She is survived by her sister, Loretta, sister Janice (Lanny), brother Randy, (Lois) nephews Todd (Lynette) Jason Weiler and nieces Jessica (Tim), Kimberly (Casey) and numerous great and great great nephews and nieces. Audrey spent her early years on the family farm near Blutcher, Saskatchewan later moving to Saskatoon to complete her schooling and then graduating from the Saskatoon Business Collegiate. Audrey moved to Winnipeg and began working as a legal assistant at Asper and Company law firm then later for the leader of the liberal party of Manitoba. In 1974 she started at CKND television in Winnipeg later known as Can West Global TV where she hosted a weekly TV program. Sometime later, Audrey was asked to serve as a civilian aid de camp to the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba Peter Liba and she shared many stories of occasions where she met amazing people. Audrey was very fond of those years, she was a people person always interested in others. Her smile and laugh were infectious, she made many friends easily throughout her life. Audrey was active in many hobbies and professional duties. She bowled, golfed, played bridge, sang in the church choir. She loved music and the theatre and was on the boards of numerous foundations. In 2017 she moved back to Saskatoon always interested in everything that family and friends were involved with. On April 3rd Audrey suffered a heart attack and entered the Royal University Hospital Coronary Care Unit later transitioning to the Hospice at Glengarda, where she passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Audrey now resides in God's house happily reunited with parents, relatives and the many friends she made throughout her life. The family wants to acknowledge the excellent care she received at both Royal University Hospital and the Hospice at Glengarda. At her request there will be no funeral service.
