HARVEY, ANN MARIE

Ann Marie (Poelzer) Harvey went to God’s eternal rest on July 6, 2018. Beloved wife of Ouray Bev Harvey. Dear mother of Brian (Sharon) Harvey and Beverley Ann (Kim) Colwell. Loving grandmother of Leanne Priddell (Steve Trull), Craig Harvey, Christopher and Kelsey Colwell. Precious great-grandmother of Isabella, Kassandra, Stewart and Owen. Grateful for having shared in her life is brother Robert Poelzer of Saskatoon, sister Ruth (Gordon) Henderson of Sherwood Park, sister-in-law Helen Poelzer of Kelowna and brother-in-law Ralph of Saskatoon. Ann is fondly remembered by dear nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbours and her faithful dog Meggie. Ann was born into a modest, hard-working, Christian home in Humboldt, SK on December 7, 1921. She had a childhood led by a strong, close, farm family. Rudolph and Anna Poelzer saw to it that Ann and her five siblings were taught the right way to live. Ann grew up on this farm and attended school in Humboldt. At a dance one Saturday evening she met and later married the love of her life Ouray Bev Harvey. Ann and Bev enjoyed a life of love and 67 glorious years of marriage. It was a true partnership as Bev was her primary caregiver and rarely left her side until his passing in 2013. The center and heart of Ann’s life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. To her family Ann gave her total love and devotion. She provided strength, stability and a happy home. Predeceased are Ann’s husband Ouray Bev Harvey, her parents Rudolph and Anna Poelzer, father-in-law Ouray, mother-in-law Christena, brothers William Poelzer, Rudolph Poelzer, sister Grace Gordon, sister-in-law Genny Poelzer, sister-in-law Faye Poelzer, nieces Anita Schenn, Brenda Harris, nephew Errol Berger and grandson-in-law Michael Priddell. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Ave. S. Saskatoon). The Rite of Committal will take place at St. Augustine Parish Cemetery in Humboldt, SK.
