It is with deepest heartache that we announce the passing of the most beautiful one-of-a-kind man Allistar George Smith at the young age of 40. After a short, hard fought battle with cancer he passed away peacefully with his soulmate Megan Fietz and mother Joanne by his side. Allistar was born and raised in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and moved to Vancouver Island in 2015 where he made lasting memories returning to Saskatoon in 2022. Allistar was a father of two beautiful children Liam and Makenzie Smith and cherished his one of kind love with his partner Megz aka Booberry. Unique, wild, thoughtful, family orientated, relentless, scrappy, passionate, non-judgmental, and a very proud hardworking man with the Iron Workers Union Local 771; these are just a few of the many traits that he blessed everyone with. Allistar was a very creative person and left his mark and stories all throughout his life adventures, whether drawing, free styling, writing, or getting another tattoo. Allistar leaves behind his two children Liam & MaKenzie, Life partner Megan Fietz, parents Joanne (Brian), Colin (Tracy), his sister Megan (Justin) and brothers Bevan (April) and Michael. Nieces Myla, Farrah, and Aurora; Grandma Shirley, and a multitude of uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends from all over the world. Allistar was predeceased by his brother Shaun Smith, grandparents George Rudd, Elizabeth and George Smith, and auntie Karen. A Celebration of Life for Allistar will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Army Navy Hall (359 1st Avenue North Saskatoon). Arrangements entrusted to Travis Minor.
