August 30, 1943 - August 9, 2012
Warren A. Tittle, 68, of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Warren moved to Sarasota/Bradenton 60 years ago. He graduated from Manatee High School and spent two years on active duty in the Navy. This is where his love of travel began.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Nova University and worked for Florida Power & Light, where he retired in 2005, after 40 years.
His other interests included ancestry research, woodworking and he was an avid history buff.
After retirement he happily traveled on a dream trip for 7 weeks in Australia and New Zealand and traveled much during the next 5 years.
In May 2010 he was the grateful recipient of a double lung transplant from a generous donor and later became an active volunteer for Lifelink, where he spoke to many about the value of organ donation.
Warren is survived by his wife, Linda; two daughters, Judy and Kim; a son, Dave; two step daughters, Dawn and Brook; and five grandchildren, Trenton, Holly, Taylor, Connor and Aidan.
Services will be held 9:30am Monday at Sarasota National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lifelink or One Breath at a Time in Warren's memory.
