Trent Lyndale Yoder

Fred and Rebecca (Hochstetler) Yoder.

He is survived by his parents, Fred and Rebecca Yoder and a sister, Wanda of Parrish, FL, two brothers, Kenton (Sherri) of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Linfred (Marilyn) of Sarasota, FL. He is also survived by five nieces, Abigail, Keira, Elana, Aliyah, and Katelyn and nephews, Kaden, Cohen, and Kai.

He was preceded in death by a nephew Brady Pierce Yoder, paternal grandparents Mahlon and Mary Yoder, Step-grandmother Anna (Borntrager) Yoder, and maternal grandparents Harvey and Elizabeth Hochstetler.

Trent enjoyed kayaking, fishing, playing card games, taking walks, and visiting with the neighbors. Trent’s love for Jesus gave him a longing for heaven, especially with the trials he had post heart transplant in 2010. He held fast to the hope of Jesus being the anchor of his soul (Heb. 6:19).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Hope Mennonite Fellowship Church, 8500 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota, Florida.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Hope Church at 10:00 AM followed by internment at Bethel Mennonite Cemetery.
