He was born on June 25, 1995 in Sarasota, FL to Thomas Sr. and Laura Hagan. Tommy attended Sarasota Christian and later graduated from Booker High School. He then went on to college at Arizona State University, where he was awarded Dean’s List this last Spring Semester. Tommy was an active member and held the position of Secretary for the Arizona State Ski Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends at his home in Sarasota and looked forward to spending his summers on Lake George in New York. A perfect weekend for Tommy would consist of boating, water sports and hiking. Tommy will be remembered by many as a “gentle giant”. He had an outgoing, high spirited personality that will never be forgotten.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Laura (Furtaw) Hagan, in 2007.
He is survived by his father, Thomas Hagan Sr; his older sister, Valerie Hagan; his younger brother, Riley Hagan; his grandmother, Constance Miller; his aunts, Phyllis Furtaw, Judy Brown, and Bonnie Hagan; his uncle, Paul Furtaw; his fur sisters, Cinnamon and Duchess; and many cousins, extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 4pm at the Potter Building at Sarasota Fair Grounds; 2896 Ringling Blvd in Sarasota, with a reception to follow.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota.
There will be a Service at Lake George, NY early this summer.
