Sharon Ann Steele

Born in Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from Maumee High School and Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio and attended Toledo University in Toledo. She was a substitute teacher, bookkeeper and a landlady later in life.

She was treasurer for Catholic Alumni Club of Toledo, Cheers of Sarasota that raised money for Big Sisters and Big Brothers of Sarasota. She was an usher for the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center for over ten years. She was a member of The American Women's Association for over 25 years.

She was predeceased by her mother, Irene, her father, Russell and brother, Henry "Sonny" Steele.

She is survived by her niece, Debra (Michael) England of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; her nephew, Wayne (Laura) of Bradenton, Florida; two great nieces; four great nephews; two great great nephews and one great great niece. She also leaves behind wonderful cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30am at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home with visitation held from 10:00am to service time.
