Ripple, Sandra LeeNov. 21, 1943 - Apr. 30, 2014Sandra Lee Ripple (Peters), of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away April 30, 2014. She retired from teaching after 37 years at Lake Central High School in St. John, IN. Sandra is predeceased by her parents Virgil and Margaret Ripple, and brothers Darrell and Kim Ripple. She is survived by her significant other Richard Woods; sister Pam Lasota (Kerry King); brothers Bruce (Debbie) Ripple, and Mark Ripple; nieces and nephews Bryan, Rachael, Jennifer, Brad, Mark Jr., Nick, Michelle, Alyssa, and Priscilla Ripple, and James Lasota; cousins, Sue Decker, Bob & Joann Hays, Bob & Kathleen Decker, Reta Decker, Warren & Clara Bays, Sharon & Dave Murley. Sandra was a member of the American Legion post #30, VFW post # 7881, Fraternal Order of Eagles #4424, Moose Auxiliary #1603, and Lake Central Teachers Association. A visitation will be held on Sunday May 4 from 12-2pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home in Sarasota, FL; Funeral at 2pm with graveside to follow immediately after.
