Ronald L Yoder

Ron graduated from Middlebury High School in 1966. He attended Goshen College and graduated from Purdue University in 1970. He was a farmer and a partner of Goshen Livestock Auction until 1985. Ron then worked in sales until his retirement.

He was active in sports all his life, especially basketball, softball and golf. He was a ranger at a Sarasota Golf Club. Ron was a man with lots of humor, who enjoyed life, family friends and neighbors, and was a member of the Mennonite Church all his life.

Ron is survived by his wife of 45 years, Reidun Yoder from Oslo Norway; his children Russell Yoder and Robin Myrvold both residing in Norway; grandchildren Susanna, Benjamin, Michelle and Kasper; and his sisters Laverda McGowen and Luetta Culp.

Services will be held on March 7, 2019 at Sarasota Community Church at 2:00 P.M. Visitation with the family from 1:00-2:00. Ice cream social following the service. A memorial service will take place in Middlebury, Indiana this summer in July with dates and time to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ron’s memory to Hospice.
