Robert Bob H. Ackerman

February 19, 1931 - December 15, 2013

Robert H. “Bob” Ackerman, passed away on Dec 15, 2013. He will be dearly missed as the loving Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Husband, Father and Father-in-law, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend that he dedicated himself to being for all of us. He focused his love and energy on his family first and foremost, but also enjoyed real estate investing, traveling, photography, exploring the outdoors, and any excuse for gathering with family and friends. He enjoyed 62 years of marriage to Arlene; and now leaves behind their Sons and spouses – Steve and Sue, Mark and Loretta, George and Victoria, and Scott and Kris; Grandchildren – Jennifer Edwards, Melissa Roberts, Cobi Ackerman, Kevin and Kyle Ackerman, Jeff Hopkins, and Jennifer Rohrer; and Great Grandchildren – Jack and Justin Edwards, Stevie Roberts, Taylor Shrum, Grace and Jackson Hopkins, and Avani and Arius Rohrer; and many other extended family members; who were all celebrated by him openly. He faced the last few years bravely enduring the challenges of Dementia, which was frustrating to him, as he had always felt his mind was his greatest tool.
