Richard D. Miller

Richard "Dick" Miller, 92, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 20th, 2022, surrounded by his family while in Hospice care in Sarasota, Florida.

Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Warren and Lucille Miller. In 1951 "Dick" graduated from Rochester Business Institute with a Business Degree. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army in March 1951 and served in the Korean War as a 1st class Sergeant until being Honorably Discharged in February 1953.

"Dick" married the love of his life Virginia "Ginny" in November 1958. The two of them were each other’s lifelong companions, best friends and made so many great memories. They owned a Grain and Feed store while in NY and then moved to FL in December 1978 and opened a Motel. They were blessed with four children.

"Dick" is survived by his wife "Ginny" Miller; Children, Pamela Schroeder, Tanya Carlsen and Kevin Miller; Grandson's Lane (Misti) Schroeder, Brandon Quercione, Brett and Cory Carlsen; Granddaughter Daina ("Rusty") Baker; three Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

"Dick" was preceded in death by his brother Norman; his son Bradley Sr and grandson Bradley Jr.

Memorial service will be at a later date.
