Nelson J Paradis, 85, of Sarasota, FL, died November 7, 2023. He was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Gerard P. and Hermine G. Paradis.
Nelson graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1973 from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI. He served seven years in the US Army; 32 years as Vice President of Operations at RI Hospital Trust (which became Bank of Boston, then Bank of America); and seven years in Accounting and Building Management for Arthur Andersen in Sarasota.
Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Hermine, and his sister, Laurette Berube.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie M. Paradis; siblings, Jacqueline Normandin, Teresa Gervais, Gerard Paradis and Aline Mahoney; and many nieces & nephews; and their children & grandchildren.
