Michael was a Vietnam veteran, director of patient care services at both The Childs Hospital and later Albany Medical Center. He had volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, the Sarasota Humane Society, and served as president of his community association.
Michael is survived by his husband Daniel Lang, his sister Patricia Jarvis, brothers Patrick (twin), Thomas James, and Mark, and numerous other family members.
In lieu of flowers ect, please make a contribution to your local Humane Society, or the ASPCA.
A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
