James Joseph "Cadillac Jimmy" Signore, age 70, of Sarasota, Florida passed away suddenly on Monday, November 11, 2024. He was born on July 4, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Pasquel and Estelle Aiello Signore. Jimmy retired from the City of Chicago before retiring to Florida and pursuing his passion of vintage cars. He held the now famous "Cruise-Ins" around the area including Clark Rd. Taco Bell and lately the Culver's on Cattlemen Rd and South 41 in Sarasota.
Jimmy always held our veterans in high regard and was responsible for many fundraising activities for our veterans in the area.
Jimmy is survived by his wife and "Cruise-In" co-host partner, Joanie Signore of Sarasota; his daughter, Brianna Koperna of Palmetto; his grandchildren, Autumn and Stevie Koperna; his siblings, Mary Novotny, Michael Signore and Sam Signore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Anthony Signore and Pat Signore.
He was known for his immense humor and was a talented drummer. He loved his grandkids, wife and daughter fiercely. His dedication to helping others will always be remembered.
A cruise-in memorial car show and service for Cadillac Jimmy will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
Cruisers are asked to arrive around 9:30 AM to get parked in front of the funeral home.

Though his time with us is up, his love and memories will stay with us forever.
