David H. Weiler, age 88 formerly of Ephrata, PA passed away after declining health April 9 in Sarasota, FL. He was born Jan. 11, 1927 in Earl Township. He was son of the late Abram H. and Susanna Hoover Weiler. His wife, Anna W. Zimmerman Weiler died Oct. 2, 2001. He was a member of Bahia Vista Church, Sarasota, FL. Surviving are five sons, David L (Edna) of Bloomfield, IA, Noah, Sidney (Ruth) both of Sarasota, Harold (Sharlene) of Salunga, PA, Irvin (Diane) of Richland, PA; 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; a brother Eli Weiler of Ephrata, PA, also preceding him in death one granddaughter, Holley Weiler and one brother Paul Weiler. Weiler had been a farmer in West Cocalico Township, Ephrata, PA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 12 at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home Services and interment will be in Ephrata, PA.
