Memorials are planned at 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at North Jetty Pavilion in Venice and at 10 a.m. Jan. 28 at Carson's Creekside in Middle River, Md.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Liz; children Curt, Karen and David; stepdaughters Emily and Lauren; brother Jerry; sisters Theresa and Debbie; and 15 grandchildren.
Daniel died at home in Venice with his family by his side, after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born Dec. 19, 1943, to Daniel and Margaret Organt in Baltimore, Md. Family and friends loved and revered him for his outgoing personality and positive attitude. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Colorectal Cancer Research.
