Her family moved to New Jersey when she was 7, and after graduating high school, Arlette went to college in New Jersey. After doing social work in NYC, she moved to Seattle and then to Los Angeles, where she met the love of her life, Stan Jacob in 1986. They Married on Bastille Day, July 14, 1989. In 1996 the happy couple moved to Sarasota, Fl.
Always a go-getter, Arlette has worked in many different professions: as a paralegal, a real estate agent, had her own Dog Food Supplement Business, and developed a condo building in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Arlette is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Jacob, their Dog, Molly, and Arlette’s two brothers Noel and Mitchell Wiederhorn. Arlette will always be remembered for her very generous spirit, her great style, her sweet and trusting nature, her courage in adversity and her love of life.
