Robert Lee Stollof Jr., age 62 of Saraland Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends and family on November 7, 2024, after a period of illness at The Retreat Hospice in Mobile, Alabama.
Bobby was born on November 16, 1961, to Robert Lee Stollof and Kathryn Lorie White Stollof in Miami, Florida.
He graduated High School in 1979 from Monroe Christian School in Key West, Florida and after ,made his career in the automotive industry. He retired in 2020 and enjoyed several years of being home full time with his beloved wife, Sylvia. He and Sylvia met in the singles group at church in 1989 at First Baptist Church Chickasaw. They fell in love quickly and married in 1990. Bobby and Sylvia spent 34 happy years together. They most recently attended First Baptist Church of North Mobile. Bobby enjoyed golf, bowling, Alabama football, and spending time with his friends and family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Lee Stoloff, his mother, Kathryn Lorie White Stollof, his Father Robert Lee Stollof Sr, his stepmother Sylvia Young Stoloff, his stepbrother Rodney Young (Tonya), his stepsister Paula Bishop (Totty), his brother-in-law Daniel Thomas Sr (Debbie) and his mother and father-in-law John and Virginia Thomas. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, his stepsister Michelle Mosley (George), stepbrother, Larry Young (Vickie), sister-in-law Deborah Thomas(Danny), and several nieces and nephews as well as lots of good friends who will miss him greatly.
Services will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama on November 15, 2024. Visitation will be at 1:00 and funeral services at 2:00. Interment will be Wolf Ridge Cemetery in Whistler, Alabama.
