Peggy Jo McCarty

Peggy Payne McCarty – Born 1937 in Mobile, AL. passed at the age of 81. A longtime resident of Saraland, AL. She worked many years for Zales Corp., Fannin Sales and retired from retail jewelry at the old K-Mart store in Saraland after 17 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leslie McCarty, Sr.; daughter, Linda McCarty Royer; a son, Leslie McCarty, Jr., three sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl McCarty Galik; grandsons, David (Lisa) McCarty and Steven (Anne) McCarty; granddaughters, Kacey Royer, Catrina Royer, Jennifer McCarty and Samantha McCarty Booten; great grandson, William McCarty; great granddaughter, Adaline Booten; step great granddaughters, Sammy, Chrissy and Melissa Kertscher; her brother, Forest (Patsy) Payne; sister, Dorthy (Lamar) Barnett as well as many nieces, a nephew and friends. She will be missed

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. funeral time at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland on Monday, June 17, 2019 at noon.

Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL.
